#Passion2012

The Passion 2012 conference is happening for the next couple days at the Georgia Dome. The Passion Conference, if you don’t already know, is built around thousands upon thousands of College students coming together for one ultimate purpose: to ignite a Passion within ourselves to spread the insane love of Jesus.

This conference is such an incredible blessing to the world. Literally.
THOUSANDS of lives are transformed, renewed and set aflame for Christ.

Some of my best friends from the best church at this conference tonight all the way across the country; but as I’m here, I’ve been burdened. I’ve been ignited.

I couldn’t help but ask myself: why don’t I see this intense of a passion throughout the whole year?

The Passion Conference takes place once a year as a needed refill and spiritual reload.
But where is the literal Passion the rest of the year?

I feel as though this generation, our generation, has been set to a much higher standard spiritually. People expect more from us now more then they ever have. Why? Because there are SO many different ways to be distracted from your spiritual life in today’s world; making a stand for Christ is putting the rest of the world to shame.

My question: why are we, as a whole, afraid to take the challenge?

Every year thousands of students gather together gaining the passion of Christ only to give as much of it away as they can.
There are people, like you and me, who spend hours upon hours pleading with God for a revolution for today.
Hundreds of teenagers give themselves until they have nothing left.

But I wonder about the rest. Where is the rest of this generation?

It should be considered such an honor to be called to such and incredible task: bringing Jesus to the world.

We have been called and equipped to spread the name of Jesus to all nations. Need proof?

Go, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19.

It’s such a simple yet daunting task.

This generation needs to take that seriously.
We have the power to allow Christ to cause the greatest worldly revival through us.

We need to wake up.
We need to be prepared.
We need to wear the armor.
WE NEED TO BE DOERS not just hearers.

It’s up to us. It’s up to this generation to bring Passion to the lost and broken world.

There are thousands of students who are squished together in the Georgia Dome tonight:
Waking up.
Preparing themselves.
Putting on the armor.
Becoming a DOER.

Join us. Join me. Join the Georgia Dome in becoming Passionate for Christ. We need to overflow.

Join us in the greatest revival for Christ.

Think big.
Dream bigger.
Pray biggest.
Let God do the unthinkable.

It.
Is.
Our.
Time.

GO.

“…teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20.
